Why are there 3 keys (passwords)?

Instead of using a single password, we use a combination of three keys.

The first two keys are used to feed the storage encryption algorithm to make your data completely safe from any future site breach.

And the third key encrypts the data between the browser and the server to block browser attacks.

3rdKey Password Protection

Instead of using a password, we use a combination of three keys. The first two, feed the encryption algorithm, the third key blocks browser attacks. Because we do not keep the encryption keys on our server, your passwords are kept safe even in the event of a site breach.

(hence the name 3rdKey.com)
