3rdKey for safety
We respect your privacy! Any and all information we collect will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, rented, loaned, or otherwise disclosed; it will not be used without your consent.
We do NOT store your encryption keys, nor can we reproduce them, nor can we read your data without them.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to
3rdKey.com does not sell, rent, loan, trade, or lease any personal information collected at our site, including membership forms or email lists.
3rdKey.com analyzes our website logs to constantly improve the value of the materials available on our website. Our website logs are not personally identifiable, and we make no attempt to link them with the individuals that actually browse the site.
3rdKey.com uses a cookie in order to keep you "logged in" during a session. We take your encryption keys, entered during the log in process, and combine them with some other information, and then encrypt it. This encrypted data is then randomly split into two parts, one part is stored in the cookie with a unique session identification number and the other is stored in our database. Your data can not be decrypted without both parts, and neither part can be decrypted without the other part.
We also keep a value "cookies_acknowledged" set to "yes" if you have acknowledged the cookie message, so we will not show it again. (For about a year anyway)
Why are advertising cookies risky?
A cookie can ONLY be accessed by the domain that put it on your computer. That means that 3rdKey.com can not read cookies from amazon.com, and amazon.com can not read cookies from 3rdKey.com.
However, an advertising company that shows an advertisement on amazon.com and also shows an advertisement on ebay.com can access the same cookie, and the program can tell where you are. The advertising company can, over time, develop information about you that enables them to customize the ads that you see. This is considered to be a 'plus' in the advertising world. You can prevent this by turning off cookies, but then sites like 3rdKey.com will fail. You can tell that you have disabled cookies and cookies are required for a site when you log in, but it keeps asking you to log in.
Since we require a two-part log in, to protect your encryption key, we can not allow you to log in on every page, you must have cookies enabled.
There is a solution! You can enable cookies for JUST the sites you want. Most people enable cookies and do not worry about it, but if you have disabled cookies, you'll need to enable them for
3rdKey.com has the ability to email for specific purposes, however you have the ability to change your settings at any time so that you no longer receive emails you do not want.

3rdKey.com incorporates proprietary technology that prevents people from finding out your email address.
We do not sell, rent, loan, trade, or lease the addresses on our database to anyone. All personal data is encrypted, so your data can not be viewed by anyone other than authorised staff.
